The Bleeding Control Instructional Pack includes the supplies recommended by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) to host a 10-student training session.
No one understands urgency like emergency physicians. They know the first few minutes after an emergency are critical for survival, and emergency service professionals aren’t always the first ones on the scene. That’s why ACEP has created Until Help Arrives, a one-hour training course designed to help ACEP members teach basic life-saving skills to their community.
With your help, civilians can take this one-hour training course and feel more empowered to be the help until help arrives.
The Instructional Pack supports the training course with:
Simulab Bleeding Control Leg Trainers (2)
Simulated Blood Pools (4)
Pre-packed Student Kits (10)
The Mini Anne CPR Trainer for teaching Compressions Only CPR is not included but is available as an Add-on to enhance your training.
The Bleeding Control Leg Trainer has realistic anatomy, unsurpassed tactile sensation and includes an entry/exit bullet wound and a deep laceration that can be packed and provides the needed space to train on applying two tourniquets.
Each pre-packaged student kit allows trainees the hands-on skill development and required muscle memory for wound packing, tourniquet application, and compressions-only CPR. The kit includes:
C-A-T® Blue Trainer
QuikClot® Moulage Dressing
Emergency Trauma Dressing
1 pair of Nitrile Gloves
Waterless Hand Cleaner
Replacement parts for each Student Kit can be ordered separately to serve additional courses.
